The Dutch Summer School (Online): Making Boerenkoolstamppot

I believe that to truly learn a language you need to engage all of your senses! One of the best ways to do this is to get into ‘De keuken’ BoerenkoolStamppot is one of the most authentic Dutch dishes that one can make! Literally translated it means ‘farmers cabbage hodgepodge‘. 

I don’t know about you, but I do love mash potato and I will eat it with anything EVEN in ‘brood’. For this ‘recept‘ chuck in some kale and complete the dish with a ‘rookworst’ to make it extra ‘lekker‘!  

I can see why this is a favorite dish of the Netherlands.

De ingrediënten

  • Aardappelen
  • grote witte ui
  • rookworst
  • 1 theelepel zout
  • 1 snufje gemalen peper
  • rookworst
  • 1 ∙2 kopmelk
  • 2 eetlepels boter
